Monica Dixon – The longing for her native country, the USA, inspires Monica towards delicate metaphysical landscapes, isolated houses representing silence, stillness, loneliness and also a sense of mistery. With an impeccable technique, the harmonic result of great beauty transmits the viewer a sensation of wellness and calmness. Her interest in minimalism has also taken her to paint empty interiors in which the protagonist is just the architecture and the light that filters from the exterior.
